My name is Kayra Kanpolat, and I'm thrilled to be starting my journey in higher education as a freshman at Purdue University's Daniels School of Business. This opportunity represents a significant step in my academic and professional development, and I'm eager to immerse myself in the world-class business education that Purdue offers.​     

 

    I recently graduated from Ankara Private Tevfik Fikret High School in Turkey, an experience that has shaped my academic foundation and prepared me for the challenges ahead. During my time there, I not only focused on academic excellence but also developed leadership skills and a global perspective that I believe will serve me well at Purdue.​     

 

     Choosing to study at the Daniels School of Business was a deliberate decision for me. I'm drawn to its reputation for innovative business education and the diverse opportunities it provides. As I begin my studies, I'm looking forward to exploring various aspects of business, from finance and marketing to operations and strategy.​   

 

    My goal is to make the most of every opportunity at Purdue. I plan to engage in experiential learning projects, seek internships, and build a strong network with my peers and professors. I believe that combining classroom learning with real-world experiences will be crucial in preparing me for a successful career in the global business world.​   

 

     Coming from Turkey to study in the United States is both exciting and challenging. I'm eager to bring my unique perspective to discussions and learn from the diverse experiences of my classmates. I believe this international exposure will be invaluable in today's interconnected business environment.​     

 

      As I embark on this new chapter, I'm committed to working hard, embracing new challenges, and growing both personally and professionally. I'm confident that my time at Purdue's Daniels School of Business will equip me with the knowledge, skills, and experiences necessary to become a future business leader.
